A little tip I learned that might seem kind of obvious to everybody else, but: if you feel stuck and like the month is dragging on forever, *mess with your decor.* It will help you feel like time has passed. This is particularly true with holiday stuff, but just in general, it's a good feeling.

So here's something funny: my earbuds have passed on (RIP earbuds) leaving me with the KITTY EAR HEADPHONES as my only alternative. I must wear them for work things.

(I threw together a nice veggie lentil soup, with two cups of red lentils and six cups of broth, and then I thought "ehh, that looks kinda watery, I want this really thick" so I added one more cup...)
