Please trust that the majority of Americans are vehemently against state violence and rights violations, especially in service of Stephen Miller’s white nationalist project. It doesn’t have to be about healthcare (though we care about that too).

I agree, and I think a good step in this process is to refuse to fund an agency that allows agents to terrorize our citizens and neighbors, violate our rights, and commit violence against those who are not white or disagree with what they are doing.
January 19, 2026 at 6:53 PM
The rot here is obviously at the top. An agency that relishes in terrorizing our citizens and neighbors and that allows agents to engage in violence and the violation of constitutional rights with impunity should receive no funding.

Part of this fight has to include refusing to fund an agency that is terrorizing our citizens and neighbors with seemingly zero accountability. This is not a fringe position.

@schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social Come. On. Dems cannot vote to fund these continued daily atrocities.

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov @klobuchar.senate.gov @durbin.senate.gov @quigley.house.gov @duckworth.senate.gov Congress cannot continue to fund this incessant stream of atrocities against our residents and citizens.

@klobuchar.senate.gov @durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov @quigley.house.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social @schumer.senate.gov Congress has to stop funding these incessant atrocities. Please. It’s so important to take a strong stand here.

So the concessions received are for r’s to agree to things that are already required by the law (backpay, no illegal firings, snap payments) and to hold a vote on the ACA which will likely lose and which the House may never take up. I fail to see how this is a win.

@durbin.senate.gov @schumer.senate.gov what is your answer to this? your constituents and your base are so disappointed.
November 10, 2025 at 6:08 AM
We need a new minority leader. One who understands this.
November 10, 2025 at 5:59 AM
@durbin.senate.gov @schumer.senate.gov many of your constituents feel exactly this way.
November 10, 2025 at 5:37 AM
Disappointing.

Agree with this. @durbin.senate.gov @duckworth.senate.gov please don’t cave 🙏

Can we not sue to stop this like Oregon did? Where is our AG?
October 6, 2025 at 4:30 AM
Yes, please continue to speak out against this and do not let up. Thank you.
October 3, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I completely agree, and as one of your constituents, I would love to see you and the dem house leadership speak out more forcefully against the inhumanity of the daily atrocities occurring at the hands of this administration (like those shown in this thread).

A man was just chased and arrested outside of the Broadview ICE facility in Chicago. When legal observers from the National Lawyers Guild asked why, an agent threatened to arrest them too.

Can our AG sue to stop this?
September 2, 2025 at 11:53 PM
I’d suggest following Pritzker’s lead on messaging. We need our leaders to speak up loudly and take action to stop the deployment of troops in our cities. Calling it a distraction is a failure to meet this moment.

Thank you so much for calling this out. Much needed from Dem leadership right now.
