It has everything to do with greedy landlords, the price of gas without carbon tax is only marginally cheaper. I can tell you that gasoline price without carbon tax here in northern British Columbia is the same as it was 13 years ago. My natural gas bills have climbed but not excessively.

No when the huge amount of people who live in large urban areas choose to live like rural people then there is a huge impact. People who choose to frequently fly have a huge impact. The amount of actual rural people you are talking about have pretty negligible impact.

Bullshit!!! As a Canadian the carbon tax was a minor annoyance for gas prices. It did cost more than it should have for home heating but still not a big deal. Anybody that felt that kind of pain was being ripped off by a shady landlord
