This is a brilliant film with a first-rate cast, and directed by Paddy Considine, but it's just devastating to the soul. I can't honestly recommend it for a reaction, it's too hard to watch.

This week's work highlight was probably emailing a senior solicitor to explain that payment of a particular Court fee was compulsory, and not contingent on other factors as she'd thought. Except I spelled it "cumplsory" and hit send before I noticed.
