I stopped in to the Community Living Center at the VA to donate a box of paperback books and some hats I made. Went to the Hospice Center at the VA and personally handed some out. I will be volunteering at the VA Center to show the Veterans how to loom knit these hats.

The rheumatologist bushed off some labs that came back and I was concerned about the Lupus lab coming back as positive. He brushed it off as not important. My PCP agrees to a 2nd opinion, hopefully with VA.
This combination with my Parkinson's is not good.
Wish me luck on getting through this one.

I am still very limited to what I can do. I did find the arm style pedal machine, they only have one, but was available for use.

Today I made a new recipe, Fiery Hot Turkey Jerky.
The seasoning is my own special blend of Cajun seasoning with Cayenne and Tabasco peppers from the garden.
This is a definite will do with chicken next time.
Now Jeff gets to pick at the dehydrator screens.

From one year ago (2024), while recovering from my hip replacement, to today (2025). That is about a stud length (8 inches) of beard removed.

I went out to harvest some peppers.
I was able to pick Habanero, Poblano, Sweet Banana, Tabasco, Anaheim and Cayenne peppers.
Jeff got two Turkey Breasts. I am planning on making Buffalo Turkey Jerky with one of them.
