I really can't tell if playing Grounded for a solid 150 hours made me more scared or less scared of bugs. All I know is I saw a spider in the bathroom recently and I reached for a shield made of acorns that wasn't there and ran to my bedroom instead of a base made out of weeds.

Had a fantastic time at the Evo Awards last night. Was a great reminder of how much I love being a part of the FGC and how much it means to me. Incredibly happy everyone enjoyed the event and I'm excited to see how it will improve for next year.

The desire for good anime is so high that dozens of low-tier shows are getting released (and put into production, and animated, and voice acted, and holy shit they actually made this) to good reviews because we've convinced ourselves these things are watchable.

Sometimes I think about how life would have turned out differently if I had just stayed in Chicago this whole time.
Still strongly leaning towards moving back there in a few years. I miss it, especially around the holidays.

Read through all of the battle changes for SF6 last night and overall this patch seems really solid. Lot's of intentional tuning across characters.
