I only talk here about video games and Maybe anime and movies from time to time.
Until Then
A slice-of-life narrative game with some sci-fi elements. The story is good overall, though the third act dips in quality at times and feels a bit rushed before the ending.

Still, it’s worth it for how strong the rest of the game is.

Disco Elysium
A CRPG that focuses entirely on narrative choices with no combat system at all.
While the story is framed as a murder mystery, it prioritizes characters and world building over the case itself.
If you ever play it, make sure to do the side missions, especially the ones about phasmids.

A Plague Tale: Requiem
I found the first game to be a fine experience, but the second, despite its gameplay shortcomings, delivers a deeply emotional story.

Maybe the ending clouds my judgment on certain plot points, but even so, it's still a very good one.

Yakuza 0
A very good crime drama story. While it can be slow at times, it's still worth it for the payoffs that happen along the way.

I also have to mention that I played Kiwami 1 and 2, I found Kiwami 1's story to be average, while Kiwami 2 had really good highs but also really bad lows.

GHOST TRICK
Before this game, I always thought visual novels were a boring snooze fest due to my bad experiences with two famous franchises in the genre.

However, from the very first moment, Ghost Trick gripped me with its plot and made me genuinely want to see it through to the end.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
A sci-fi game with a story that unfolds non-chronologically across 13 different characters.

The best way I can describe this game is that it has one of the most sci-fi stories of all time.

I finished playing Lunacid, if you hadn't heard about it it's an indie game that is highly inspired by King's Field (From software first video game series)
I never played king's field but based on what I read online, this game sounded the most similar thing to the series as far as you can get.

It's weird that I got blocked for just expressing my opinion?
i have to say while I like how bluesky is a much more chill site than the hell that Twitter has become, it feels as if there is some kind of toxic positivity that lingers here.
