It was an honour to have Ahmed Hussen in our campaign office to meet with members of the African-Canadian community of Winnipeg Centre. Just as Ahmed constantly stands for his community’s needs, I will stand up for our community; from expanding healthcare to combatting the root causes of crime.

Happy to have met with the leadership of Jamia Masjid Abu Bakr Al-Siddique and Community Centre. During our meeting we discussed their needs for a kitchen space, larger community space, and a $10-a-day daycare facility, which I will advocate for once elected.
