ohh very good question... Rahi'a's Azem, Pheme, would likely have been considered for the seat of Loghrif! She was a lover and creator of creatures, particularly ones people find creepy or unlovable. Also fitting since Loghrif/Gaia have the same goth vibe as her haha.

I forgot how deep I went into Rahi'a and Koana's conversation too 😭
(They cry and hug. While this happens, Rahi'a notices Koana approaching from a distance, spotting them. They lock eyes and Koana flees, flustered. Rahi'a isn't sure if Koana was seeking him or Lamat'yi but has an inkling he meant to see him) -After Lamat'yi has a chance to gather herself, she hugs and kisses Rahi'a on the cheek, and he does in turn. She tells him she feels better knowing she has him to support her in this hardship, and feels a tiny bit lighter. She runs off to check in with more people. -Rahi'a runs off to find Koana, who has retreated to the throne room area. It seems Koana had just gotten back, as he is sniffling and waddling around a bit like a lost child, uncertain what to do with himself. -Rahi'a immediately calls out his name, and Koana barely has the time to turn around when he's hit with a hug from behind. He's bewildered, and Rahi'a's grip on him is gentle yet firm. "Were you coming to see me?" "N-no..." he sighs "Yes..." "Hear this." (He stays in position, unable to make eye contact yet because this is going to be even more personal for him than his words to Lamat'yi). "As older siblings, we have to shoulder more than most eyes can see. We become more than leaders, than fathers or mothers, and it can be thankless, and it can be lonely." (Koana gasps a little, almost in protest, but Rahi'a continues) "We love our families, we love our people, and we don't want to disappoint them." (He finally turns Koana around to face him, taking his hands in his) "But we need people to lean on too. People that we don't feel we are burdening. I know that you and your sister will take care of each other well. Your father... he raised you so." (Rahi'a is teary, Koana looks surprised through his own tears) "But we need people to lean on too. I know we have only just gotten to know each other. But please believe me when I say I will be here for you, and your sister for whatever you need. We need more than one person to lean on." (Koana's face scrunches up into an ugly cat cry and he bawls into Rahi'a's chest, gripping him, the kind of grieving he doesn't want to show to anyone else). "Thank you." he says after a while, once the air settles a bit. "Thank you" and he pulls Rahi'a into a full hug.

-post-death, Rahi'a feels shattered hearing Lamat'yi and Koana's grief. He is immediately triggered but he holds it together, a world of difference from his reactions to being triggered in Endwalker -a part of it is how much he sees himself and Razeh in the siblings and also realizes he can be here for them now, he can make a difference where he was alone when he lost his parent -he watches as Lamat'yi forces herself to push through and be a leader and his heart breaks -at the scene on the beach, alisaie is not present. Rahi'a does all the talking, holding her face between his hands, and is firm about it. -they leave to go sit on the docks by the residency. Rahi'a tells Lamat'yi of his loss, something he hadn't shared with her yet. As close as they have become - it still is something he prefers not to share unless a situation calls for it - and this one very much does. Lamat'yi recalls his tears at the Yok Huy grave and Rahi'a is surprised, and touched that she noticed and didn't pry. He will hold this in appreciation and love forever. -Rahi'a tells Lamat'yi that there will be a lot of people - including her own mind/self, trying to dictate how she should feel. "Never let anyone tell you how to feel. Not even yourself. When you need to cry, cry. When you're angry, be angry. When you're happy - know that he would want you to be happy. When you feel nothing at all, it's okay. It's okay. You aren't broken. But your heart is. And you have to live with that broken heart and take care of it like you would someone you love. And maybe it will never be whole again, but you can fill it with so much love, from all kinds of wonderful places." "I can't mend your broken heart, or bring back who you lost. No one could for me either. But because I had love, people who stood by me through everything, even at my worst," (flashbacks of fights with yshtola and other scions and razeh) "I'm still here now." (He looks at her very seriously, as if to convey the depths of despair he'd reached before) "And I will be here for you." (He takes her hand and holds it). "No matter what, Lamat'yi. I will stay by your side. Even when we might be apart. You need only to call upon me. I will be here."

I did the texting meme for Rahi'a 🥰 He's the type that prefers to call or talk in person, so he'll usually steer things that way LOL. In the cases where one needs to talk shit discreetly though, he'll usually oblige and you'll get the moon emoji a lot then.
