Right. The same behavior has repeated throughout human history regardless of the tech available. If you look at a picture from the 1950s you'll see a bunch of guys reading newspapers on a train not talking. There's always going to be people who aren't social, social media didn't cause that problem.

People really just live to be miserable. Why would you choose to sit with a wired controller in front of a CRT TV if you don't want to? There's nothing wrong with taking advantage of modern technology to make your hobby more enjoyable
