We're all freaks in one way or another. It's what makes us who we are, so there's no need to feel ashamed or deny your "weird" side. As long as it doesn't harm you or others, just live with that part of yourself and don't worry about it.

If the person you're talking to is passionate about your art and the subject matter you're drawing, their insights can serve as a valuable foundation for your future ideas. (At least, that's what works for me.)

I would recommend finding someone to discuss your ideas with. This can help you analyze the value of your ideas. It also allows you to see your ideas from a different perspective.
