If something (metaphorically) explodes though, the person who fixes it will get much more recognition. The stress of things getting bad and then relief of it getting fixed leaves a bigger impact. (Ultimately, preemptive fixes are ideal, but you get much less credit for them than you deserve.)

I think it's just human nature to underrate preemptive fixes. Even if your logical brain can reason that things could have been bad, if it's been prevented, it doesn't leave a lasting impact on the emotional part of the brain.

However, there's something about the original that I just couldn't quite figure out how to recapture when I went back, so it's my favorite despite those flaws.

These are probably my favorite ones of the year. The first one was mostly taken on a whim and has some issues with clipping, etc. I ended up going back later to try to produce a similar image with some tweaks (the second image) which I ended up using as the basis of a commission.

I really like how they stylized the character beyond the in-game model while still keeping the in-game inspiration recognizable.

I'm generally a big fan of dragons, so when I saw that Au Ra would be available to free-to-play players, it convinced me to give the game a try. I briefly played an Elezen in the weeks before Au Ra became available, and made an Au Ra to play as my main once they were available.

I have a similar problem where I lie to myself that a 5 land hand is just fine (because surely I'll draw mostly spells given the cards left in deck). It usually doesn't end well.

I had this experience not too long ago when I was trying to find art to use for my D&D character. In the last campaign I was a part of, it was easy to find real art that we could use at the table. When a new campaign started this year, it became impossible to find real art in the sea of AI.

Weird question - did you get a notice from them that your items shipped? I ordered the set of three items and haven't received a notice that any of them have shipped. I'm not sure if no shipping notice is normal or if me not seeing one is potentially a sign that they forgot my order.
