We manage to cover quite a few different death rituals, from burial mounds to cremations, but also the political aftermath of death. Like when the head of your religion dies…. ⛪️

One of your hosts just got (a modern rendition of) “Viking chess” aka hnefatafl from their friend!
We mentioned this board game in our episode about games and play, which this friend listened to and then went out to find the game as a (belated) birthday gift!
