I’d recommend going through your games and seeing where your big mistakes usually are. if you’re getting crushed in the opening, learn a system for white and black, if it’s in the middle game, practice tactics before you play. endgame, watch youtube videos on endgame concepts like opposition

ding is a 2800 player at his peak though and he's playing like it. his defense has been amazing

i think we might be underestimating him in rapid.
he finished 9th in world rapid last year and also probably still will have some unused prep in those games. if he can catch ding in an uncomfortable position he won't have the time to think it out

I don't know how it'd be done but it would be cool to see a “likeliness” number that shows how easy a move is to spot for a human.

should be the commentator's job normally but not many take the difficulty into account
