These are not positive role models. This case can offer a good opportunity for older men to have conversations with the younger men and boys in their lives to offer more empathic, authentic ways to express masculinity.

We have just launched research raising concerns about increasing 'traditionalist' views of manhood, particularly among young men. Views including associating dominance & power over women, as ‘manly’ are being influenced disproportionally by men like Conor McGregor, Andrew Tate & many others, online.
