you're a musician, so i feel like it's valid for you to have higher expectations for music and i feel like it's valid for even me as someone who just likes music to as well... i dunno, i feel like when you've heard a ton of stuff, you get a bit more picky

yeah, i'm not a musician, but if i was, i'd be fine with not being famous cuz i don't wanna be forced into making garage and i'd eventually find some people who like me.. i don't understand the whole famous thing, even having a handful of fans sounds awesome

when i say "mixed like shit" i mean like it sounds bad to me.. there's plenty of music i like that is technically mixed badly as well, but it doesn't bother me

as for production though, i definitely appreciate that more than the general public, production definitely is a part of what i think sounds good, if a song is mixed like shit to me, it's hard for me to ignore it

yeah, i do not blame the artists, writers and producers too much for just putting out what fans want and they want background music slop + i'd be a hypocrite to not mention that i'm guilty of liking songs for how they sound rather than lyrics, although for me, what i think sounds good is not that
