I suspect that is the entire point, the wealthy are usually the ones that evade taxes , if us non millionaires did not pay taxes ,collecting from us will not bring in much cash.

Happening here on the southern border too our stores are empty lately our mall once busy mall is a ghost town ,our visitors from Mexico don't want to be caught up in our drama.

I am in hospital I live on the border, my nurses have told me that many people who are here legally are putting off seeking medical help because they are terrified that ice will arrest them in the ER , people have died because they waited to long to get treatment ,so many consequences .😢
