The movie overdid the musical themes to an absurd degree. A good amount of songs for an SU movie would be 2, maybe 3 or 4 songs. NOT 14! Anyways, to conclude (because I hated a lot in this thread lol): Steven Universe is goated. I have some issues with it, but overall it is one of the (6/8)

And I found it kinda stupid how Garnet's future vision didn't do fuckall. Finally, I am really happy that SU is a show with musical numbers. Sometimes they are amazing (it's over isn't it), most times they are mid or bad, but overall it brings a charm to the show. However. (5/7)

and had a sort of mickey mouse-like feel that just made her feel uncanny. Third, everyone felt like they were acting out of character. The diamonds were strangely affectionate, Steven was arrogant as fuck (and no I'm not considering this as foreshadowing for his issues in the final episodes) (4/7)

Firstly, it introduced the possibility of romantic love between Steven and Connie, which to me just takes away everything that made their relationship so endearing. Secondly, I don't like Spinel. She felt very out-of-universe weird, (3/7)

but I still really enjoyed it. Peridot and Lapis especially were a lot better in Future than they were originally (sorry not sorry), and it was great to actually see all of Steven's fusions in action (except Sunstone). To me, the worst part of SU was the movie. (2/7)
