Went to Chatsworth House today - and yesterday - as a two-day visit with guided tours of the house and gardens, for my wife's 75th birthday. We both had a great time. It cost an arm and a leg, but you're not 75 every day.

When I was 11, we moved to a house with a library at the end of the street. It had a rule that you could take 2 fiction and 1 nonfiction books out at one time. I read hundreds of books in the next few years, learned a huge amount, and visited it 3+ times a week. What an advantage for a kid!
