I think they're referring to different allegations, the ones described as "baseless" ones are against Joty, while the ones they're "investigating" are against a former selector. Jahanara also talked about them in separate interviews.

My point, I think, was: better to lose a World Cup with a young team you are developing, than lose one with players who get ditched afterwards. Ultimately they haven’t won a trophy so what’s the difference?
