Small world. My siblings are GenX and millennials, and when they all hit their early 20’s, they moved out the house too, when I was still single digits. 2/3 of my bros and my sister left, but one of my brothers stayed to help with the rent. By the time I was about 14/15, he got his own place to live

I also was a birthday present to my dad, as his bday is Sept 18. I was born 3 days before, the 15th.

Interesting. Guess my niece and your sister are bday twins! 😌 my niece’s due day was supposed to be July 4th, aka, Independence Day, but she was born around after midnight, so technically, it was the 5th by then.

Thanks! :) yeah, work is going good. Didn’t go to rally because there isn’t one near me, plus things can escalate real quick and I want to protect myself. And I have sensory issues when it comes to large crowds of people. But kudos to those who went and marched out to protest!

Yes. This was posted back in July. I mean, hey, when you have siblings a decade or two older than you, of course I became an aunt at a super young age, lol! And thanks for reminding me that I still have a Bluesky account, haven’t posted or went on here in ages! This app has yet to reach popularity.

Because I thought we were gonna be screwed just like LA and the Carolinas, & the cause of it is just silly… Long Island/NY to my knowledge doesn’t have the driest land or big forests that are prone to starting fires. Well, perhaps upstate, but I wouldn’t know, as I never been further out Long Island
