I did come to realize it's partially due to my sexuality. I didn't have as much of a hard time watching a lesbian anime that did the same. I'm also completely fine with non-sexual nudity. (Sexual too but it depends). (2/2)

Indeed that's how I felt. I hated that I couldn't enjoy the animes I found with my brothers. Or the constant sexualization (of girls and guys too). I also had trouble growing up and trying to befriend 'otakus'. A lot would straight up tell me about adult cartoons when I was a minor...

I personally dropped watching anime much bc they would always be unnecessarily (to me) horny(movies and tv series too). Now I'm very selective.
