Hack for reviving old inks:

You can add distilled water to inks to make them workable again. I haven’t had any problems so far. But fyi my ink hasn’t been completely gone yet, just a little thick! The distilled water is free of limescale etc. so it should work well!

I have once again succumbed to the urge to try lino-printing on fabric (even though the first attempts were awful). So here is the action plan:

1. figure out lino paint for fabric
2. test paint
3. thrift t-shirts or other variables
4. ???
5. success!

I have tried to reuse one of my dried out watercolour tubes! I harvested the dried pigment from the tube and used my mortar and pestle to grind it up!

I am rewatching the #Season3 of #RuPaul’sDragRace and all these years later it’s crazy to me how much ableism, transphobia, intersexism and racism is in this season especially. I gasped at some of the challenges. Overall, it aged like milk.

I got myself a 2ndhand mortar and pestle and some gum arabic and I am going to make my own paint! Wish me luck (and give me tips bc I don’t know a lot) 💌
