Supper prep & tried the smashed ginger hack. Cut against the grain & then using the metal mallet in made in high school shop smashed it. Forgot plastic wrap so a bit messy but quick work.

My dad and a few other dryland SW SK prairie boys who traded the sea of wheat for the North Atlantic in the Navy during WW2. Dad was a staunch conservative Def man, he'd be efn befuddled at the state of affairs these days!
