Not true. Demand clearly outstrips supply. Your comment only applies when people have choices to move to more affordable housing. If anything, this will reduce supply as landlords exist the market.

This government seems intent on eliminating social mobility and the opportunity to build wealth for ordinary people. Most landlords maybe own one property that they inherited or were able to keep when they moved in with their partner. Again, no mention of a wealth tax on the super rich.

Serious amount of negativity on this thread. Game changes completely with a horrendous refereeing decision. I’d go as far to say you won’t see a worse one in the age of VAR.
