I haven't had the inspiration to crochet anything. So have a cozy kitty pic instead.

Quick kid's egg apron! Perfect for my niece to collect her duck eggs with.

As soon as I bust out the crochet he demands all the attention.

The one that ran out first was the black yarn.
I've completed this beauty and can't wait to show it to the recipient. The colors are a little softer in person. But still a fun visual.

It's a race to see which skein runs out first.

This is pretty big and the colors are much brighter in person. I'm excited about how this turned out.

I kind of love this.

I've been sitting on this yarn combination for a long time. I really hope the color changes end up flowing well. It's meant to be a baby blanket, so hopefully the end size is big enough.
I tried to follow a pattern, but it did not like me so I am freehanding.

It has been a week since I have been able to crochet anything. My elbow is unfortunately still in pain, but I have another project lined up once I get the supplies.

Enjoy this sweet boy while I procrastinate.

I have completed this beauty! Just in time for the baby shower I'm attending tomorrow.

I am thankful for the pattern I was able to start with. This has definitely squashed my fear of crocheting Chevron blankets.

I am so close to finished! The addition of the pink on the ends made me fall in love with it. I have 5 rows to finish before it's done!

I lost "yarn chicken" and so the brown ran out before the purple could fade back into pink.

But now I will be winging the pattern to make this longer on both the top and bottom.

I whipped up some birthday "treats" for my son's class tomorrow. No pattern this time. Each one took about 20 minutes. They have egg shakers inside instead of stuffing. I'm hoping the kids enjoy the multisensory treats, especially because I can't send real cupcakes.

Day by day I've made some progress. I've really had to slow down.
I'm starting to doubt my color choice and wondering if all this was worth the effort.
But I have hopes that I can turn it around.

I haven't been able to get much further in my crochet project due to tennis elbow pain.
So enjoy a cute kitty pic instead.

My progress so far.
I forget how much yarn this type of pattern uses, so I may end up needing to make a decision when I run out depending on how big it is.

The world could use some more love.
Here is my small contribution.

Pattern I am following:

Completed.

I finished the shawl I was working on. I really like how it turned out. I added a shell edge for funsies, otherwise I followed the pattern. I really like the flow of it.

The simplicity of this pattern is very relaxing. I usually can't do repetition for long periods of time, but the color changes make each row more interesting. The pattern was also made for this specific yarn, so I don't have to worry about running out.

Trying to be creative while my home literally falls down around me...

It's a struggle, but I'm trying. It feels appropriate for current affairs.

Another project finished.

This was a new pattern for me and it was definitely more challenging. There were a couple spots that I had to guess. But I've finished it!

Progress.

Working with a new pattern I am unfamiliar with. It's tricky and this yarn has several random cuts in it, so I'm struggling through it all.

And if you're an artist and you *do* feel the urge to create due to current events, that's also okay.
