BTW you can put your sops stuff in a flake in another repo and then add it to your config repo so no secrets encrypted or not make it to your public config

As for the phishing attack imagine an ipfs gateway as a static site hosting service like cloudflare or github pages. They have the same abuse vector. Most gateways (legally) have an abuse report ability to block csam copyright phishing and other illegal stuff just like github pages does.

Yeah filecoin is a crypto thing built on top of / forked from ipfs. Nobody really uses it or likes it at least in the og p2p app dev space. It has been coopted a bit by crypto ppl, but most aren't super interested in the crypto stuff.

Your ipfs host only stores content that you deliberately access or pin.

With exponential growth it can be hard to separate organic growth vs bot accounts. Combined with being an inherently more open protocol underneath they definitely will have some teething problems in this area. I expect it will only improve over time as trust networks form and growth levels out.
