Golvellius was game #5. It was one of my first ever games as a kid, and I could never beat it -- not even with my dad's help. Now I know why: it's pretty hard! Very fun though, and I was especially fond of the characters who insult you if you choose not to buy their wares.

RE7 is a lovely example of devs hugely shifting how they do things and it paying off amazingly. RE8 somehow manages to be "what if we made RE4 again but bad but also good" (affectionate).

Game #4 is Cabernet, another gift from @daggercat.bsky.social ! It's a little buggy, but it let me do a lot of my favourite things: be a vampire, pursue WLW love, save lovely ladies from their awful husbands... It also features the fantastic @samanthabeart.bsky.social! Highly recommended.

She's still very good even without Escoffier! I've been using Skirk/Citlali/Furina/Charlotte and Skirk still demolishes pretty much everything. Not quite Mavuika levels of ridiculousness, but still really good and very satisfying to play :3

#3 is Parasite Eve 2! Although I've come to prefer the first game, this is still a childhood favourite of mine. It's very Resident Evil with a scifi twist. I wish Square Enix would bring this series back!
