With how well-rooted C&C, Warcraft, and Starcraft are for Modern, Fantasy, and Sci-Fi warfare, they could reasonably be the only niche left to conquer. Still doesn't make the similarities less odd, however.

All I really ask is for people to respect the 4-6 player limits they have, because the game is deliberately based around that! Imagine if that was required in literally any other genre and as a result even something as simple as questing in a small scale RPG becomes this super quick speed run. Bleh.
