Ok, honestly, yes. As someone who had an ultrawide for years, put a max limit.
So many games had none, and would stretch the screen proportional to width, and then part of it would be offscreen. So many games didn't even work in fullscreen for me.

At Galloping Ghost they had an arcade cabinet of warlords with a real neat design trick - The screen was actually below the usual viewing position, pointed up, and what you see when playing normally is a reflection off a glass panel over the background, to add a sense of depth to it
