The iFTx app is pretty freakin’ cool. FT8 using my iPhone. Xcvr is a lab599 running 10 watts into a ground-mounted vertical. Using the audio side of a digirig between the iPhone and the radio.

10 meters is open af! The VE3MMX repeater in London, ON is coming in great. It’s such a hoot to work stations in NV and WA via a repeater ~2000 miles away.

Radio Catface International is on both 5850 kHz and 5950 kHz! Bitchin'! Both are coming in good tonight on the new (to me) IC-7000 that followed me home from the Star (Idaho) Ham Radio Swap Meet yesterday.

Chilling to Radio Catface International after almost 14 hours on the road today. Excellent signal from WRMI on 5950 kHz here in Mewcastle, WY, even with just a makeshift antenna inside the motorhome because there be mosquitos here. Thanks for the post-drive therapy, @bobcatface.bsky.social !
Thanks to the groovy AirFly that @leinie.bsky.social gave me, I was able to listen to the first part of the show whilst finishing up mowing.

Hunting POTA activators from a municipal park on a gorgeous evening. Idaho to Minnesota, Texas, and California with only 1.7 watts going into a short little antenna. Radio is magic.

This rcvr does not suck. At all. Cruizin’ the Decades sounds great. The synchronous AM detector is amazing.
