Magic carpet rides across the fields! Just so long as the they don’t become scratching posts.

This post made my day. Thank you for your noble service.

Brilliant, vital, life-saving/affirming selections all. Of the discs listed here, The Specials probably has the largest slice of my heart, but man it’s hard to choose.

Always have, always will. One of the ways you can instantly differentiate natives from carpetbaggers.

Simply, brilliantly put.

Also from “Slow Horses.”

At full attention here in DC, CHT, and ready let loose.

I read transcripts of his, er, meanderings (can’t call them speeches) and it truly hurts. The reaction inevitably is “what the everloving fuck is this gibberish?”

Woke 2: Electric Boogaloo

I’m so here for it.

By waterboarding, perhaps.

Hopefully she keeps this up until she’s no longer a billionaire. As someone else quipped, maybe she’s one of the few we *don’t* eat.

I think that the tweet (or whatever the fuck they’re called) is supposed to be a quote *from* Chris Wright, not attributing the Nobel win to him. Note the colon and quotation marks.
That said, claiming Dr. John Clarke’s shared Nobel for this anti-science Administration is grotesque in the extreme.

The best use of Halloween-Industrial Complex decorations EVER. I am in love with whoever designed and installed this; every detail is so very clever and (tragically) spot on.

Thank you for sharing and, of course, vote Ossoff!

Well this is gutting.
October 21, 2025 at 2:50 AM
Thank you, yes, I was thinking the exact same thing! There is no way that an adult human could actually write that tweet; I could not stop laughing as I read it.

Yes. Yesterday’s No Kings rally was on Pennsylvania Ave., not the Mall.
Still demonstrates just a wee bit of a difference in enthusiastic crowds though.

Note that I don’t think that this was an intentionally misleading post, just a gleeful repost made without doing a double-take or fact check.

When Gregor Samsa awoke one morning from troubled doomscrolling he found himself transformed in his bed into a monstrous insect. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his numerous notifications.

Very nice work—I love the details!
May 26, 2025 at 11:53 PM
THANK YOU, good sir!!

I wish I could have played this at my Bat Mitzvah.
May 11, 2025 at 5:23 AM
My love for this cannot be overstated, but I need details!
Who? When? Where? WHAT?
May 11, 2025 at 4:41 AM
My life is now blissfully complete.
