Every best-of-2025 movie list lacks credibility to me by excluding Chainsaw Man:Reza Arc. Even the one who throw in Demon Hunters are off the mark. I’m not even a manga/anime fan, but Chainsaw Man was excellent and caused me to go back and watch the tv series.

Remember that time when our government decided to tax our imported goods to raise revenue, and then we were like “hell no, we’re dumping this tea in the harbor to spite you”, then we made a whole new government that was okay for like 250 years before the new guys tried the same shit?

American Airlines flight today. They have delayed the flight 8 hours in 25 minute increments so as to avoid triggering their system to offer free flight changes. No sign of a plane. I bailed and will just give United a ridiculous amount of money for a last minute ticket instead.

Mourning the loss of Bob Uecker today. Some of my earliest memories include listening to him call the 1982 World Series on WTMJ radio, and he has been a near-constant voice in my life for over 40 years. His humor and eternal optimism informed my own. Summer won’t be the same without him.
