I'm just waiting for buying a decent but cheap SDR dongle for HF and also VHF/UHF/SHF to latter build a Network accessible Multiband SDR, that will be nice as a kind of an add-on to the project...

Yep... It's great to explore the radio spectrum better no doubt, I intend to do it during this year... I got an unused Raspberry pi 4 and just need the RTL SDR...

I got excellent reception from all North Europe and also East and South... I get all Europe covered on 11 and 10 meters.
For now I can only operate CB, as my country bureaucracy makes me do my exam again for a new class 2 Ham license and call sign as it takes 2 years minimum to operate HF bands

I also fight QRM even here, nowadays we have far more tech spewing garbage on the SW. I had to filter al my house electrical grid and disconnect all RF sources and chines power supplies/chargers to down QRM a bit... with the portable as soon I get close to my little village (10 Ppl) QRM increases.

Yup... When I was a CB and Ham Operator 40 years ago I was also in the big city, good for US and South America DX though, I had the Atlantic has a reflector. Now I live 340 mtrs altitude on the middle of a small mountain in the 2nd higher mountain in the mid of country, block to the west though...

Here where I am, yesterday night was a bit colder, tonight we have a few light showers what increase a bit the minimum to 1ºC but it might snow above the 400mts also...
I'm at 324mts elevation so I'm good...
