Thank you for sharing this! I and some colleagues have to do a little oral history/testimony interviews (or in the same wheelhouse), though nothing as heavy as this, obviously, so it'll be good to keep in mind

Cassandra, you have to stop...

It's not like you can find research and data from the last ~10 years showing that when center-left parties in Europe become more reactonary to stop the Right, it always backfires and just loses them votes

Kažkodėl Tapinas nelabai ėmėsi tyrimų per TS-LKD partijos pirmininko rinkimus, kai buvo aišku, kad greičiausiai laimės Kasčiūnas, asmuo, kuris būdamas I. Degutienės padėjėjas Seime, gavo pinigų iš, berods, Kurlianskio (ar kito MG Baltic asmens), kad bandytų įtakoti jos balsavimą kažkokiu klausimu

Hey, Mishima had issues (to say the least), but he was a good writer!

Yes, but the definition of "left" (and traditional "left" voters) in Lithuania is so messed up (social conservatism with welfare state elements; not my observation), that Otto von Bismarck would be considered a socialist in Lithuania.

Great video (as always)! Didn't expect to find the question of water access in the US southwest interesting, yet here I am!

While I agree (Ganz hardly ever misses, imo, especialy in the fascism debate), but let's be fair, it's not that hard when your opponent is DB

A country being invaded can be helped if it is able to buy weapons that help stop/slow down the invasion? Really?

May 13, 2025 at 6:36 PM

In a Lithuanian context I first thought of the brothers Lavrinovičiai, so yeah, that would be quite horrible
