Thank you for sharing this! I and some colleagues have to do a little oral history/testimony interviews (or in the same wheelhouse), though nothing as heavy as this, obviously, so it'll be good to keep in mind

It's not like you can find research and data from the last ~10 years showing that when center-left parties in Europe become more reactonary to stop the Right, it always backfires and just loses them votes

Kažkodėl Tapinas nelabai ėmėsi tyrimų per TS-LKD partijos pirmininko rinkimus, kai buvo aišku, kad greičiausiai laimės Kasčiūnas, asmuo, kuris būdamas I. Degutienės padėjėjas Seime, gavo pinigų iš, berods, Kurlianskio (ar kito MG Baltic asmens), kad bandytų įtakoti jos balsavimą kažkokiu klausimu

Yes, but the definition of "left" (and traditional "left" voters) in Lithuania is so messed up (social conservatism with welfare state elements; not my observation), that Otto von Bismarck would be considered a socialist in Lithuania.

Kad jie (libai, bet ne tik) nemano, kad tavo (atsiprašau už tujinimą, anglų kalba šiuo atžvilgiu egalitariškesnė) močiutė neturėtų būti parlamentarė, tai beveik garantuota.

Dėl ko prasidėjo Vėsaitės istorija irgi pilnai nepamenu, "Boomer" (ar pan.) pas mus neretai persipina su "vatnikas" (ne visai korektiškas sulyginimas). Šiaip daug mūsų politikų nėra jokiu atžvilgiu kompetetingi, bet tai selektyviai tampa problema, priklausomai nuo partijos, kuriai priklausai.

Mūsų libai tyčiojasi iš didesnės dalies politikų, kurie į kairę nuo Reagan'o (ypač ekonomiškai), o jų elektoratas gan ribotas (libsąjūdis tampa upper income diedų, kurie neypatingai progresyvūs, partija, o Laisvės partija...?). Amžinai pasmerkti būti mažaisiais partneriais, patyčios tik ir lieka.
