It's been happening since 2K3. When that came out it was awful and the original cartoon was better. It's happened every iteration haha

A lot of fans presume if they don't like it everyone else doesn't. It's really silly. The franchise has held strong and the nostalgia merch is constantly coming.

Honestly I wish they factored into the story more then they do. It's very Deadpool with lots of 4th wall breaking. They did it in the show but not to this degree

Distribution is a major problem. I've seen some Walmarts get literally 20 Tatsus but in my area they might as well not exist. Target may just stop carrying the Comic lines and focus on the exclusives. The comic figures are available everywhere so they do tend to sit more often.

There's lots planned. They just announced a new toon figure yesterday so I think we'll still see them for a good while yet. Not that I'd complain if the toon figures went all online because I never find them around me 😬

I've seen this mentioned but I've also seen it being denied as well. I think they're just shrinking down the collectors spot, which is mostly dusty Funko Pops and peg warmers. I've found Neca turtles in the regular toy aisle so maybe that's where they'll be from now on
