Maybe anti-psychotics in targeted water sources? We don’t have time or resources for all the mental health care that needs to be done. I’m not really serious. I think. I dunno.

I seem to recall housing & industrial climate based strategies in things I’ve seen. There’s more than one way to tackle climate change. Myself, I’m glad they’re diversifying the focus rather than spending more energy fighting a battle that sadly the majority of Canadians haven’t backed for decades.

I think they’re focusing on the methane emissions because there already are numerous technologies that can be employed with lower cost and greater results.

No what is in place is not sufficient. That is why they are enhancing the regulations to further reduce methane emissions.

Methane emissions on O&G are regulated and in the process of being enhanced. The Federal government is working with the provinces for landfill methane emissions regulations.

The CCUS is specifically for carbon dioxide emissions from O&G. The methane emissions are from a variety of sources and are currently regulated with plans to enhance those regulations.
