pearl was the original turning point, my first adult pet and something clicked in my brain that i needed to do and be better. and every year i try to find new ways to make their lives better and i'm proud of how far i've come.

i hope jade (and my girl kitty up in heaven) is proud of me too

and jade is 14 now so she's been with me in all those stages and i want her last few years to be so much better than the first few years. i owe her that.

fiona has taught me that so much in the last 11 months and i'm definitely doing better at caring for my pets than i was 5 years ago but there's still more work i should be doing!

i switched the cats food and litter to help with digestion and allergies but they still get a lil pukey sometimes:(
