Is she new to dating? If so, I might suggest she get in touch with her nervous system and learn to differentiate between her happy/safe places and emotions that arise in reaction to a partner. These are good skills regardless of a partner’s age.

As an atheist, I have plenty of room for the futures of people not born yet. In my cosmology, there are also all the other living beings who depend on what I do. Hell, I willingly share citizenship with all the plural beings who make my body and will have other things to when I move on.
