Also, i feel so justified in original having Brute Bomber alt start as an arcanist because it seems like he is pretty talented at aether manipulation. I'm imagining Ancilla teaching him black magic so that he can harness the power of his fireballs more easily. I think that's what would draw her to him. Seeing his potential in spellcasting and wanting to teach him.

Pre-7.4 i didn't really have any desire to actually ship Ancilla with Brute Bomber because they didn't interact enough for me to get a sense of chemistry. But now that he actually lived and even did a combined attack with her, it's like i really do see it? He even offers to train with you and teach you techniques and shit.

So i feel like post-Arcadion there's a relationship that really could blossom. I still like the idea of Ancilla x Estinien but i guess the more time they spend apart the harder it feels to justify them being together for me. But now Hector is always going to be there, you know what I mean?

Tbf i thought about doing the same thing with Claudien after pandae ended but decided not to go through with it. So i might not go with this either, but now that Hector is such a special character to me i guess i want to see it play out.

FINAL FANTASY XIV Hotfixes (Dec. 18, 2025)

■The following issues have been addressed:
・An issue when challenging Hell on Rails and Hell on Rails (Extreme) wherein total party incapacitation caused by the boss attack Runaway Train may result in the following job gauges resetting improperly.
- Paladin: Oath Gauge / Pictomancer: Canvases / White Mage: Healing Gauge / Astrologian: Arcana Gauge / Sage: Addersgall Gauge
・An issue with the Phantom Dancer action Dance wherein the following detrimental effects are not applied:
- Paralysis status inflicted by Jitterbug
- Blind status inflicted by Mystery Waltz
・The colors set for "Dye 1" and "Dye 2" on the following equipment items are displayed in reverse to their intended appearance.
- Housemaid's Wristdresses / Loyal Housemaid's Wristdresses
・When certain races/genders equip the following items, the fabric/color of the abdominal area and the color of the chest pattern are incorrect (they have changed from what it was before Patch 7.4).

- Body gear "Palaka vest of striking"
- Body gear "Palaka vest of aiming"
- Body gear "Palaka vest of scouting"
Affected race/gender
- Midlander male
- Miqo'te male
- Elezen male
- Au Ra male
- Viera male
・On the "Zero's Order Cuirass" body gear, the cape's lining does not reflect any dyes. Additionally, the waist decoration portion which was reflecting Dye 1 prior to Patch 7.4 is instead displaying the color from Dye 2.
・The color of the feather decoration on the headgear “Zero's Order Chapeau” is incorrect (it has changed from what it was before Patch 7.4).
・Closing the Command Panel Settings window using the cancel button may cause other open windows to become unresponsive.
・An issue with Lefleda in Sinus Ardorum wherein the NPC's name is displayed in Japanese.
・An issue wherein "(Extreme)" is missing from the description text of the achievement and orchestrion roll obtained in Hell on Rails (Extreme).
