I don’t think I was supposed to have fun in Portland yesterday, but I did. I wasn’t trying to push back against this christofascist empire, I just wanted to be a part of a community where I felt safe. I live on the outskirts of Portland where I don’t. And that’s sad.

The early impressionists were like the punx of the 19th century. They originally called themselves “The Independents” and held their own art shows. They handed out flyers that read, “Come see the works of 5 degenerates and 2 women”. It was the two women that brought the ruckus.
