Turns out WSL can run GUI apps. I couldn't help myself; cool-retro-term fits right in with the rest of my setup. It's a silly little gimmick, but I use this screen for terminal stuff anyway, and the faux-CRT vibes make my day a bit brighter.

It's like someone said "Let's use UE5 to make a PSP shooter but without the load times." Simple, scrappy, a little unpolished, and a huge helping of that three-part-time-devs-in-a-basement energy. It's mid in the best way. I dig it.

It's like someone said "Let's use UE5 to make a PSP shooter but without the load times." Simple, scrappy, a little unpolished, and a huge helping of that three-part-time-devs-in-a-basement energy. It's mid in the best way. I dig it.
I love how gamers digging their dad's keyboard out of the back of the office closet made it possible for me to have a joint-pain-friendly keyboard that doesn't look like the computer peripheral equivalent of orthodontic head gear.

Something else I noticed in iOS 26: Blackmagic can capture ProRes on a non-pro iPhone now.
iOS 26 gives iPads a phone dialer app to make proxy calls from an iPhone. If both devices are on Tailscale and WiFi, because it seems to check for WiFi presence, you can initiate the proxied phone calls from anywhere, as in leaving your iPhone at home and using the iPad to make a cell phone call.
