I've never seen the G.I. Joe movie but when I do it'll be because I love all this dumb Cobra-La nonsense. I wish I could have gotten the other ones, but luck was not on my side. At least I have this badass snake lady!

Day 15 of #spideraday Armadillo vs. Last Stand Spider-Man. I wasn't going to get the latter since the articulation is nonexistent but the design is great and someone was selling it at a significant discount. Day 6 #spideraday Superior Spiderman vs. Speed Demon. This one was a bit ambitious and I probably needed to spend a bit more time with it, but that's for next time. I'm rather pleased overall with the effect. #marvellegends #spiderman #toyphotography
Superior Spiderman is being beset on all sides by Speed Demon. He's being punched in the face, gut, and other places by the speedster while the speedster also pulls on his waldoes and goes into the pizzaria, gets a drink, grabs a pizza, and then eats while reading the newspaper. What a busy guy!

Octo-Spidey! I've wanted this one for a while. Scratch-built the tentacle belt out of bits including a connector from a USB light as the fastener, making it removable. Luckily the Mezco Doc Ock came with plenty of tentacles to borrow for this. Helmet was made from cosclay.
The belt, pre-painting. Made from a bit of syrene sheet, some random bits, and a usb cable with the innards removed. The back of Octo-Spidey, a Marvel Legends Animated Series Spiderman with a tentacle belt. On display is the connector I used for the back, which gives what I think some very nice texture. Front of Octo-Spidey. Base figure is Marvel Legends Animated Series VHS Spidey. Belt is scratch built, tentacles from Mezco Doc Ock, and helmet sculpted from cosclay. The OG Toy I based this on, a spiderman with awful proportions but a belt and visor I loved to play with.

(2/2) This is the main work of the right leg armor done. Lots of sanding and scrubbing and trimming of the previous stickers. Still to do: Add new stickers and topcoat the thing.

Thirteen (!) years ago, @katesidhe.bsky.social and I got together to build a 1/60 PG Gundam RX-78-2 Special Color Variant Edition I accidentally bought. Now that I'm getting back into gunpla, I've decided to restore this gundam and give it the justice we couldn't at the time. (1/2)
A gundam RX-78-2 in special variant colors. The photo is very low quality. An example of the kind of wear and tear the gundam had, and that we gave it when building it. The top leg is the untouched left leg. The bottom is the restored right thigh. Scuff marks and nub marks have been drastically reduced.

Inspired by the ML Livestream reveals today for the Fan4, here's my Galactus/Fan4 display. Reed's arms are custom by me, made with cosclay and bendy wire. Sue's head is a Gwen Stacy head swap. Galactus effects from @canofbeams.bsky.social
Galactus stands in all his glory. At his feet, Sue faces against Morg, Herald of Galactus. Climbing the side of the display is Reed, stretching out towards him. On the other side, the Silver Surfer pleads with Nova, herald of Galactus. At the top, Galactus shields himself from Human Torch's fire while The Thing attempts to take him off guard. And overlooking all is Uatu, the Watcher. A focus on the top of the diorama; the Thing and Human Torch team up against Galactus while Uatu watches A dynamic shot of Reed stretching out towards Galactus while Johnny attacks in the distance. Sue sending Morg, a herald of Galactus, reeling back.

The Living Brain, a solid D-lister Spider-Man villain. Drafted in FreeCAD, printed, finished, painted and assembled by me over the course of maybe a year. I still want to do his First Appearance head, but this one (based on his appearance in Superior Spider-Man) will do for now.
