Today's progress = 7k in. Part of it was on the next scene for CH 1, the rest editing a chapter from the old draft to fit into this one. It's either going to be the first plot point or the inciting incident, not sure yet the order but its still a major plot point and moment for our characters.

Today was a good productive day! I hit my 3k goal for the day and wrote out a newish first scene for this darker, grittier version of THE BOOK! Aiming to be out and querying by September!

Mine is Dual-POV between the FMC and the MMC. FMC's scenes are about 70% of the book.
MMC'S is set during vital moments where FMC's POV just doesn't work for that scene and makes up about 20% of the book.

For me, I listed all of the agents who were taking adult and then put them into a spreadsheet with my genre (and sub genres) and anything on their MSWL that stood out. If they took that genre they got a green square, if not a red one.

Update: Coffee has been acquired and Autocrit has been opened. Time to cut back on my filter words and hopefully bump up that 'Strong Writing' Score.
This has to be one of my absolute favourite features about Autocrit and if you haven't tried it before, I would highly recommend!
