Other children should opt out of friendship with these little jerks.

We all knew this was coming someday.

There was a reason Chandler Bing feared Michael Flately's Lord of the Dance.

Uh yeah, my grandparents worked in factories. They both died in their 50's. The fact that we don't do this work as much and we live longer than that just might be related.

Not shocked. I'm half Greek and the idea of PP getting in and making Canada more Trumpy has me thinking of getting my Greek citizenship.

Just saw the clip and went to his website to see if he could be contacted. When you pick 'contact Jim', it says the site's down for maintenance. Hm, wonder what that's about?

He's saying what Canadians feel right now.

I knew the tainted blood scandal was a thing from my childhood, but I had no idea it was because Canada went around its own donor rules by buying blood products from the US. Shameful.

If that is true can they charge Elon as a terrorist?

Good.

Be kind. Seriously. Not just polite, although it doesn't hurt, but actually kind.

I'm now understanding how my grandparents (polar opposites) stayed together for so long.

We've had a squirrel on the loose at my library.

Next thing you'll be telling me that 'The Underground Railroad' didn't happen like Colson Whitehead wrote it.
March 12, 2025 at 11:02 AM
As soon as you were describing the Canada image, I knew I couldn't look. It sounds like it was influenced by 'Anne of Green Gables', and I refuse to have one of my favourite childhood stories ruined.

And now Greek communities everywhere have a parade every year on "Oxi" day, or No day. There's also a so-so brandy called Metaxas.
Anyway, I think he's worthy of a Behind the Bastards episode.
March 7, 2025 at 12:58 AM
The Geeek Prime Minister Metaxas. He should be remembered with Hitler and Mussolini, but instead when M tries to force his hand he said "No!" and slammed the door in the messengers face, and bec of this, Greece winds up on the side of the winners of WWII. It was expected to go the other way.
