Anyone who watched a single match he played in knows he needed to grow up - and harness his attitude. He was an Unai project - and probably not the only player at the club who's overachieving under his leadership

Every other Premier League club will be back in pre season training before the CWC finishes. Perhaps Chelsea's 2 games v Man City could be on the first two match days so they can play them when they want to. PL bound to bend to inevitable requests to postpone their matches otherwise

40 days, across the whole of North America. Remember when Mexico was big enough to host it on its own? FIFA were happy enough to let Qatar host so I'm sure they won't have any issues with Trumpland

He may be right for Spurs, but are Spurs right for him? The attraction of managing in the CL must be huge but at a club that gets rid of decent managers as often as some people have a hair cut?

Man City win today and we’ve got Europa any way. The f Man City lose on Tuesday, I’m sure a lot Man U fans would hope we beat them if it means they’re playing Champions League and City aren’t!

Justine Bateman is slightly deluded. Trump hasn’t shown he’s interested in helping the film industry in the US at all. Like everything else, if he was interested, he’d be talking to people about how to do it, not just making an announcement without any strategy attached

It's a win win for Villa and Birmingham - better accessibility combined with Villa's GA policy means it will be a better place for conferences etc. A greater capacity Villa Park will attract more bands and and non Villa games. More casual work locally and more tourism for Birmingham

#RIP Bosko. I bought that programme from a market stall in Scarborough for 30p a couple of years ago. I think my reaction made the seller think it was obviously really rare and he should have priced it higher.

There are a lot of people in Britain who think that positive discrimination based on ethnicity is wrong, but I don't think I've ever come across anyone who thinks giving money to a school to help them provide adequate help for a disabled child is wrong.

Appreciate the financial decisions and the reasons behind them. but the ticketing is a disaster. Hopefully NSWE can bring the right person in who can keep us compliant without alienating the fanbase.

I think the defining characteristic of the current squad is that they all seem to be happy and fitting together. The speed that Asensio and Rashford fitted in was amazing. Loved Asensio's reaction to our goals after he'd been taken off. Some loan signing!

Depends on what sort of agent he has. Is he the sort to advise a youngster to sign for Chelsea, or one who'd say 'look at your options - where's the best place you can go to improve?' Players aren't signing for Villa, they're signing for Emery
