When was it turned down? You can appeal no matter the reason we long as you have enough evidence. Quote the send code of practice to the senco and tell them they have to do reasonable adjustments and a strong support plan

Is he on a support plan? Have you seen an education psychologist? Schools have funding that pay for EP’s through the local authority if you haven’t already speak to the senco and request one. Their report will be good evidence. Any other professionals report use for evidence.

It’s such hard work and emotionally draining I’ve been there, round 2 now. But it’s definitely worth it in the end. Well done you ❤️
