A lot of examples in this, it's been a long time since I read it, 'How the Irish became White'... should anyone want a thoroughly depressing read, full book: thecharnelhouse.org/wp-content/u...

They = Dead Can Dance. DCD broke up again in 2023 due to artistic differences. I had no idea Lisa was performing with Hans Zimmer. Such a pity to miss it. Hope you can catch them again another time.

Me too, Her voice is out of this world. I need to finally see them live. Apparently they are planning a tour for summer 2026. Hopefully Lisa will be joining.

Stunning! Missed it here (North West England), woke up to an Amber alert and poor visibility. Hopefully I can catch it tonight:

That's lovely:) "Music is a place to take refuge. It's a sanctuary from mediocrity and boredom. It's innocent and it's a place you can lose yourself in thoughts, memories and intricacies." Lisa Gerrard, who sings this, great soundtrack & an excellent film: youtu.be/wWGKwNt9NY8?...

I had some Enya CDs when I was younger. She has made some good music for sure, as have Clannad. Love Hans Zimmer, Max Richter, Arvo Pärt, Phillip Glass etc. If you like that Boards track & don't know Aphex Twin, you may like some of his more chilled stuff, like this: youtu.be/baKA1B5Ymuo?... 😊

Thanks for the reminder Adam, just donated. Also, thanks for all of your hard work on your YT channel, it's been really helpful since being diagnosed.

My son is nearly 7 and it now often follows with him pranking me saying 'only 22 years until you're elderly'. Which is pretty funny, in fairness 😂
