Thumping win, a clean sheet, and some decent individual performances. Understand there'll be caveats attached to it given the opposition and their injury/suspension list but feel like we really needed that to boost confidence and settle nerves - for the fan base as much as for the players #COYS

My first game at the Lane was Spurs v Leeds in '98, a 3-3 draw with a last minute equaliser. Vividly remember that feeling walking into the ground, the smell of the grass, the roar of the crowd. I still get that "first game flutter" at the start of every season and I hope it never goes away
