Despite the title track, CO5M1C R4ILR0AD being a hitech-fullon track, most of this album is uplifting trance. Very good mixing and production here.

I don't listen to much J-Pop, but these songs are fun. My favourite song here is "I Wanna Hear You Say Cute".

#10: Another Place EP by saaa

The first track on this EP is melodic rawstyle, and it's beautifully done. Teto vocals are amazing here. The other tracks are very much IDM and not easy listening, and it's INCREDIBLE. I need to listen to more of saaa's work.

#9: Heartache EP by DJ Noriken

Some decent hardcore by Noriken. Nothing mindblowing, but the first song is trancecore, the second is happy hardcore at 200 BPM, and both are solid. Worth a listen if you enjoy DJ Noriken's other work.

#8: Comet Punch! by Halv

This album is VERY happy. I'm not the biggest fan of happy hardcore but Halv does a good job of making it interesting. A little short on runtime but nothing I can complain about. Solid album.

#7: Genexx Aura by Lapix

Once again lapix proves he's a master of hi-tech full-on, but also branches out into a lot of more experimental tracks here, which is much appreciated. The pop songs in particular stood out to me as very good.

I'm not a huge metal/rock guy so I don't have a ton to say, however it's pretty decent power metal, and any chunithm fan will get a kick out of the alternate version of Crush the Dystopia.

#5: FÜGENE 05 by MEGAREX

This is my favourite entry in the FÜGENE series by a mile. Mixing futurecore and some experimental genre changes and other gimmicks makes for really fun listening that doesn't get boring. A lot of artists here I haven't heard of before too!

#4: NO HERO by Yuta Imai

Banger of a 2nd album, amazing euphoric hardstyle, rawstyle, hard techno, and Frenchcore!

The collabs with d'Ort and rejection blew my mind! The extended mixes and other new songs are great too.
